What’s the advice on assessing fever if you’ve normally got a low body temperature? Mine’s normally 36.2C, and was only 37.4C at the worst peak of pneumonia last year, rather than 38C.

Same! This time tho even if I feel cold partner is like “your back is radiating heat I can feel an inch a way” but I can’t feel it bc cold hands. Anyone nearby who could check ur back?

I’m currently 38.1 and my chest feels cold and a bit clammy (nice). I usually have a lower body temp too - so 38 is really quite high. I’d say go with your instincts - you know what your normal is. If you’re a full 1° higher then that’s a temperature for you

agree w this, is sort of my normal approach, and I’m almost surprised it doesn’t look like we’re gonna have to do the “but it’s a fever for me!” runaround during this so whatever works!
