Yeah, incredibly it’s meant I’ve had to go to the pharmacy more often (of my eight meds, they renew on six different dates each month), making more work for doctors, pharmacists, and increasing trips/outside contact

Yep, had exactly this for months. Electronic libre sensor (blood glucose monitor) expires exactly 14 days after start using it, but can I request 2 more online after 25 days? no.

That's bad management ,shouldn't happen this way , defintley not what happens in my surgery ,I know it's not how it should be ,but it's admin staff that hold the power ,in a small practice like ours ,they know us & basically give us whatever we need ,that is reasonable

I had no trouble 16 days in advance with CFP - I explained in that annoying "Why do you need it" box that I wanted to minimize visits to to the pharmacy.

Our online ordering system makes you wait 30 days, and a month’s supply of my medication is, for some reason, 28 tablets

I have the same issue: normally they issue it a little earlier, this time they haven’t, so guess I’m without epilepsy meds, pregabalin and clobazam next weekend
