As they signed anonymously and several have apparently been back-peddling since their craven action was exposed, not sure if was brave.

Brave? What the HELL was brave about signing - *anonymously* - a fatuous and vindictive denunciation of an excellent journalist for writing a column expressing an opinion with which many, many people agree, and which was mendaciously described as "hateful"? Nothing, that's what.

Brave my fat arse. The Guardian seems pretty pro trans and generally anti women’s rights eg have our own spaces where we are vulnerable, have ethnic, religious, and disability needs. Have no adult males in dv hostels, rape centres, sports. We can meet with no males present etc.
-
Why must women be supervised or subject to the interpretation of others? Surely we fought for and won our sex-based rights to escape such male scrutiny and intrusion?

‘Bravely’. It’s not brave to join a powerful lobby in bullying a journalist!
