Was due to speak at a festival run by a very wealthy institute but have been told I'm not needed anymore. The festival is kind of going ahead in a different format. Obv it was an unforeseen circumstance that took it down but should I look for a kill fee for the prep I'd put in?

If it was a smaller group forced to cancel an event I'd of course wave my fee. But it's a huge corporate event that technically has not been cancelled, just reimagined. I think even €100 would be reasonable for the work I'd put in
