Lots of people clearly haven’t looked into this, but many families in poverty aren’t eligible for free school meals: if you earn over £7,400 on Universal Credit? Not eligible. So scrapping universal FSM *does* mean some poor kids go hungry, snotty QTers. It should be expanded.

"We should be prioritising on need" - very much agreed. The millionaire has money they don't need. We should take it away and give it to the child living in poverty.
