For everyonee asking how to see their history. My surgery uses the Patient Access app to book appointments and request prescriptions. If you go into the “More” section you can see who has looked at your medical history. https://twitter.com/DawnHFoster/status/1234740111193059328 …pic.twitter.com/0mdGuytdnd

It's not an option on my Patient Access app so I think it's been disabled either by my practice or health trust. I really hope you get to the bottom of the issue on your account. It sounds really disconcerting and unsettling for you.

Ah, that’s annoying for you. My practice have enabled everything except the option to send them messages. Lewiaham replied very quickly and said their data protection officer will look into it.

My practice have only enabled repeat prescriptions and a very skeleton appointment booking service but, in any case, I put in writing the request to be opted out of data sharing. It’s an appallingly clunky system anyway.

Hmm, I’ll think about it - doesn’t it mean doctors can’t access my records if I’m in A&E?

I’m not sure. I don’t understand how they’re supposed to know how to access it unless you are they have your NHS number. I can understand how it would work for referrals but to A&E you’re just a stranger. It’s easier to ask the patient for what they need to know.

I’m not always in a position to talk when I’ve had seizures.

Yep, says “epilepsy, schwannomatosis, penicillin allergy”, but obviously no room to stats what type of seizures I have.
