Think all the time about how Tony Blair said he has no regrets over Iraq or tuition fees but thinks his two biggest errors were to ban fox hunting, and introduce Freedom of Information, stark raving bonkers man.

I think all the time how he led Labour to 3 GE wins.

Tories have won lots of GE's - by your rationale Lab should just be more like Tories.

Yes. The only two things he regretted were the two best things he did. Mad.

Chris Mullin(diaries)made him seem irresistable to MPs,even though left ones were suspicious of his smoothness.Always dodgy but winning elections made his accountability less and more parachutists in place over time

the fox hunting ban wasn't even of any consequence, it hasn't exactly stopped the practice. don't understand why he'd regret something that's had zero impact?

I'm guessing because it antagonised and alienated the rural electorate, which hurts Labour disproportionately as they're more likely to actually get out and vote. Just a hunch. For all his faults, he's a pragmatist.

He really feels more let down by the lack of love he got from Countryside Alliance members than he does from Labour members doesn’t he?
