Ah, that takes me back. I was a teen obsessively/hypnotically glued to the TV, particularly of a leftwing and humorous bent! Partly why I cannot find it in my heart to altogether detest the BBC! That and the Guardian were my deepest regular conversations. Sort of. -
Might even have been preteen and/or only caught a bit of it/repeats. My most extensive memories were of the John Major clown one. And made me wish harder we'd had Glenys not Neil. I was more Mary Whitehouse Experience and Fast Show generationally.
