At home recovering from (probably-ridiculously-high-air-pressure-induced) headache and Ziggy hops in the window with half a chicken cat-treat stick. I look out and the girl from upstairs is tempting her over with them. I may have told her off quite strongly but that’s not OK.

Someone did the same to my granny and it was horrible. Get your own cat! Go to a shelter!

They are in an upstairs flat so I understand if they feel they can’t have a cat of their own, but they already asked to “borrow” Ziggy “to deter mice”, which I said no to because honestly I think it’s kind of weird and I suspected the girl just wanted to pet her.

What on earth? Raymond lets himself in my neighbours’ windows, and they let him hang out a bit which I’m fine with because they a) know me and b) don’t feed him, but she’s being really weird and out of order.

And some shelter cats are indoors only so she *could* get one. Locking Ziggy into her flat sometimes in the hope his smell deters mice is frankly weird.
