Anyone who infers that a politician - Jewish, Muslim, Catholic - of having dual loyalties on account of their religious beliefs should obviously face disciplinary action from Labour, and that should apply to Paul Mason, whether he is a ‘name’ or not.

Monstered is a strong word. As far as I know there have been no votes on abortion since RBL became an MP. She voted against assisted dying. If she said what she did to an audience of Catholic priests it does raise issues about her views on abortion. That’s fair comment.

She reiterated Labour policy and stated her unease about differing time limits for disabled and non-disabled children, concurring with the secular Disability Rights Commission. I’m disabled and against euthanasia as are many disabled people. It’s not controversial.
