The sound of a horse neighing, or the clippity-cloppity of it walking along? I feel like this is an important aspect that's not been addressed.

“this is completely normal” has me gone

Everyone else: Sometimes I jerk awake just as I’m falling asleep This guy: Same but it’s just the same horse always chatting to me and this is completely normal

I have this and I wish it was a horse. It’s usually someone banging my front door really loudly or shouting my name. Not fun. Even though I’ve moved, it’s still the sound of my old wooden front door that’s banging.
-
Oh yeah, it’s super common, just normal electrical brain activity - usually it’s hearing your name shouted/feeling you’re falling, not a HORSE.

I can maybe imagine this happening after doing a massive hoofer
-
I get it too, basically every night, but not a horse (could that be the origin of nightmare?), usually just a loud shout in the ear and the sensation of being hurled from a great height. The wife denies all responsibility.

Really want to know what's the horse doing; whinnying, clip clopping, what
