Actually the one good thing was a nurse asking me if I experienced different symptoms then getting to ‘noticeable pallor’ and saying “I take it you always look like that so you wouldn’t notice.”

Sorry to read about this Dawn. I am in a similar position myself. It can be annoying when something you try turns out to not work. I hope that you and your medical professionals can find a solution soon that works for you.

I used to drink Spatone mixed in orange juice. This was years ago so have no idea how much it costs now, but it's different from steak

1) Nutritional Yeast for B12 , good as a topping 2) have some citrus/fruit/vitamin C- this helps the iron be released (ie spinach salad w fruit in it, orange juice w ur meat)

Yeah, problem is pernicious anaemia, so I’m eating right, but my body’s refusing to absorb either B12 or B12 and iron (can’t remember which, think B12 might cause iron to be absorbed)
