Sisters Uncut are a great campaign group who fight for women fleeing domestic violence and against cuts to funding for those desperate to flee abuse. These are feminist issues, not obsessive transphobia.pic.twitter.com/micWnCicHX

Still annoyed by this whole thread. Being angry at the British Library for putting on an exhibition that includes a lot of working class protest, rather than just obsessively focusing on transphobic arguments, denying poverty as a non-issue.
Go to the British Library exhibition, enjoy it, learn about the great work @SistersUncut do, all sorts of working class and black activism, how poverty is gendered, and write a positive feedback form, or email the curator/library thanking them for their care and thought.
Unsurprisingly most TERFs also despise vulnerable additionally marginalised DFAB people.
not only will they throw anything out in their obsessive pursuit of transphobia, the original feminism itself so often reveals itself to have been "equal pay in salaried jobs" and very little elsr
What was the original link about? Was it when Lily Madigan, who never had a period in their life, suddenly pretended to give a shit about period poverty when they were challenged about the fact that as Women's Officer of their CLP they seemed only to talk about trans issues?
Forgot you can only support women if you yourself have experienced every facet of the female experience.
Ffs? What lunacy. If you are short of cash buying these things even at discount stores is quickly unaffordable. Ppl leave tampons on longer them they should & toxic shock is real.
Even at a lesser degree than that; stuffing your knickers full of toilet roll from the library or weeping into your sleeve because you have terrible period pain and can only afford 30p paracetamol rather than Solpadine. It's not having a tenner a month to spend on a health need.
Paracetamol costs ~45p but cocodamol ~£3, if you’re trying to feed your kids and have no money THAT’S A LOT OF MONEY
