Mercifully realised I left the blood test form at home anyway, so wouldn’t have managed to show what functions they wanted tested anyway. Wahey!

Oh dawn. Horrendous experience; it’s happened to me. Red Wine and chocolate have iron in them. I imagine you would like a cotes du Rhône or something like that.

We had that for a while but the walk-in centres got overwhelmed and the wait extended to a couple of hours. We've now gone back to having phlebotomists visiting the GP surgeries.

I've done that too. I was told by the receptionist most likely I wasn't on the list because they'd had computer problems, and sent to sit in the waiting room. I stayed there for a stupidly long time before I checked Google calendar and realised it was the wrong day.

Would they not have offered to send you to a phlebologist at local hospital? If I need an appointment for bloods and nurse not available at GPs they look to see if the phlebologist at local hospital has appointments. I do not know if that is avaiable everywhere.
