Anaemics: what OTC things help (A&E blood tests showed I was anaemic) - want to do anything I can before NYE doc’s appointment. But don’t know if most supplements are snake oil, I should just eat red meat.

Oh I was going to anyway, just often people are handy sources of things pharmacists forget to ask about - eg one reply mentioned caffeine affects absorption but it’s little known, and I drink tonnes of it

Ditto, people have had stomach pains with pills, but not supplements you dissolve in water. On the opposite, I’ve been able to tell people propranolol makes you feel horrendous if you have Raynauds, and very few doctors know about the link.
