Also think if you are going to advocate for shorter working weeks in the future, it should focus more on shorter working days: you should be able to drop off & pick up your kids without needing to pay for childcare!

I think you need to let people choose how to order it: “four day week” messaging made people think they’d be made to take Fridays off & have pay cut, and lots of people would like to clock off early and be at the school gates.

Well lots of people would prefer shorter days, and services still need to run for people who work weekends etc, so flexibility will be necessary. Not everyone works Mon-Fri 9-5 (I don’t)
