Pricelessly. Part of the problem here is that expectations among the left towards the media are so low. 3 years ago we wouldn't be hailing Andrew Neil has some saviour because he's applied basic scrutiny to the Tories.

I don’t think many are hailing Neil as some deity, merely that Johnson get a 30-minute primetime interview like all of the orher leaders

Precisely. Seeing a lot of excitement about a two-minute sign-off, but Johnson must have the full half hour of empty chair, early next week. Anything else is unfair on the other leaders. Bring on Peter Oborne to discuss his dossier of Johnson lies.
