Libdems sold no tuition fees for a referendum on our voting system which they lost and then continued to support austerity.

Spot on article and articulates why I find the term so jarring. Really important to point out that we have this binary choice because Labour are the only left party in Europe to support First-past-the-post. We wouldn't have had austerity if labour had supported PR.

This article makes no sense, either logically or tactically. Many of the 'politically homeless' WILL 'bite their tongue and vote Labour'. It's bizarre to attack them for not being fully signed up to the cause. This demand for purity only alienates potential Labour voters.

‘They correspond exclusively with a small group of friends who also graduated from Oxford, and they fetishize the 2012 Olympics, believing Britain was a utopia then’... seriously, Dawn, is that what passes for analysis?

Fantastic fabulism, isn't it? Fighting a fake centrist war populated entirely by imaginary characters from Richard Curtis movies. Maybe Dawn didn't like Notting Hill and bears a weird grudge
