Labour also pledging to reduce class sizes to 30, a pledge I remember being a big policy when I was in primary school. Why do the Tories keep leaving schools to collapse and Labour to clear up their mess.

I remember there being mild uproar about which 7 kids in my class we would have to get rid off. (We didn't.)

Impressively this policy extends to all schools. Currently there are 961K pupils in classes over 30. Up 20% since 2015. #schoolcuts

It is really interesting to compare to the independent schools where smaller class size is often one of the biggest selling points @PSPReform

"Shat on by Tories, shovelled up by Labour." It's what they do.

And, sadly, 30 is still too high. I believe the optimum number is something like 8. But it's a darn sight better than how it is at the moment with the Tories in charge.

I suspect it's win win for Tories: ideologically denude services over time and when Labour get in they find it harder to put time into promoting their agenda because they have to spend so much time repairing the damage

But we must keep our borders open, both Corbyn and Boris agree, so how do we make pledges, when we don’t know for sure how many places will be needed, especially as we are a rising population?

Exactly! I recall my son was refused a place in local primary school because class sizes capped at 30. Last Labour government maintained this standard.

Why do both Labour and Tories like indoctrinating our children with Cultural Marxism so much?
