He quit over CofE’s “woeful record on racism” & said media treated chief rabbi “as if he were the pope, speaking for all British Jews as the pope would for all Roman Catholics. Secular Jews and those who do not hold with the views of Jews for Labour are considered not to matter”.

Again, this shows why we need journalists who actually understand religion, rather than lauding fringe pro-Modi fringe groups, claiming they represent all Hindus, or thinking Welby speaks for all Christians because you forgot Roman Catholics exist.
