they barely have any engineers left in most of the UK and the scale of the layoffs there elsewhere have been so brutal that I doubt they're paying for heating in their remaining contact centres

one director left the company very shortly after accidentally mentioning an 'attrition target' to frontline workers (i.e nudge staff into leaving so they can hit their staff reduction targets without paying too much redundancy pay)

Sounds like Lloyds TSB when I was there - all on zero hours contracts and set individual unattainable sales targets so they could just sack us whenever they wanted
