Wow... that’s horrific advice! I have anaphylaxis but no epipen (easily avoidable allergen) but I get epipen training every year at work and they really impress upon you the importance of going to hospital after injecting!

No one had told me! Developed anaphylaxis during a major shortage of all pen brands so was terrified for six weeks.

OMG who didn't tell that? Anaphylactic reactions are often biphasic and adrenaline has a short half life. Any reaction requiring use of an EpiPen should be followed up in A&E.
