In Wales I'd say it's at the same level as this, sensible PC/LD stuff going on there, not toooo much need for it in Scotland, SNP surge should take care of most of that (a lot of the tory seats there are marginal). England more difficult because of people clouding the issues.

Council elections do not run on partisan lines anywhere near as much as much as GEs They are usually much more about local issues, typically with a far lower turnout Anyone using local elections as guides is only ever looking at numbers, rather than reasons
