If only I could have driven and parked for free when I went for my outpatient physio appointment at the hospital a 20-minute walk away. That would have been radical social justice in action.

Yes. Aren't these things that we could address without universal free parking? There's a finite supply of parking and it's good that people drive less when it's reasonable/practical to use different transport.

Everyone I know uses public transport to get to hospital unless they are too ill/there’s no transport at 2am. It’d be ideal to build 24hr public transport in the entire county, but stopping private companies going people in parking fees is something we can do instantly.
