Why aren't the Labour Party willing to risk workers' rights being eroded even for a temporary period? If only something in their history, or even name, could give us a clue.
Thought you were bored of Brexit, Buster. Make your bleedin' mind up.
Nope. We've previously had and could continue to have, great laws protecting workers. If it weren't for the disaster Capitalists and Chicago School style politicians at the heart of government.
Nice and easy one to answer
Tories smashing worker's rights since 1979 yet we should trust them? Amazing. Collective bargaining 82% in 1978, down to 26% overall and just 15% in the private sector.
I think it's a fair question. I've always thought the argument remain-because-workers-rights is in a sense anti-democratic because it's an appeal to ‘better’ voters. The size and shape of our the democracy should be based on what makes sense rather than political outcomes.
(and I say that as someone very concerned with workers’ rights!)
