Help a girl out: have dry skin for maybe the first time in my life. What works for it? Secondly, does dermarolling work for scars? Thirdly, has anyone used this or something similar? https://www.boots.com/rapidbrow-eyebrow-enhancing-serum-10137216 … Fourthly, men, unless you’ve genuine advice, don’t reply. It’s so boring.

Dermarolling is a scam. If your skin is dry a gentle glycolic toner (eg superdrug)followed by a hyaluronic acid serum (lots of cheapo options available) and topped off with a light oil (squalane is my fav, but rosehip, camellia or a mineral based like bio oil is good)

For the scars you might find it helpful to have a regimen of acid exfoliation (not too strong!) and copper peptide serums. The latter actually has some science that demonstrates that it works.

Me too though I’m a bit meh about it these days. I was a bit unfair on the dermarolling. For acne scarring it is useful but you need to have it done professionally. Home kit is a waste of time + could cause infections.

That’s super helpful to know and something (infections) I hadn’t considered. Cheers!
