And here I was thinking that the Spectator was suspicious of everything that was ‘more secular’, ‘more modern’ and of every kind of ‘tutelage’ coming from London. I will grant they’re pretty consistently in favour of capitalism.
Ireland IS a modern, secular, capitalist society. It has been for at least 20 years.
