I had this actual conversation with someone who works in a bank. 'I can't see it in your direct debits.' 'OK, maybe that's because it's a standing order'. 'But it's not showing up in your direct debits.' 'YES THAT IS BECAUSE IT IS A STANDING ORDER.'
