Maybe the BBC have much bigger and more robust claims in the actual documentary, and just led with the easily rebutted ones that make you question the political motives of both the documentary maker and the sources.
If this is true I can't see how this story is reliable. I don't expect the BBC to operate like this.
How is it disgraceful
All those journalists who have been repeating this stuff unquestioned need to take a long hard look at their sources and at their own personal standards.
