I see more foxes dead on the roadside, so so many, than badgers but I see many badgers too. And hedgehogs and squirrels and birds....we don't make enough tunnels for wildlife under/over our roads

Never seen a fox, alive or dead in four years in the rural area I live in. I believe they are locally extinct, wiped out for the sake of grouse, pheasants and sheep.

There are so many urban foxes near me, it's like racoons in America. I've watched groups of five or six of them ranging the streets at night. Not unusual to see the odd one trotting down our road in the middle of the day.
