My health is bad in an extremely serious way atm, albeit doctors have worked out why my seizures aren’t controlled by my epilepsy meds, what small things do you do to cheer yourself up? Want to make a list for occasions where I feel dreadful.

Going to take up oil painting as soon as I can afford to buy the paints (thanks, phone thieves) and I’ll be in hospital a lot, so any book recs great.y appreciated too.

Sorry to hear that lovely. Painting my nails and journaling (often CBT exercises around reframing situation so as to stay sane... and focusing on strengths and capabilities, rather than what I can’t do). Feels ridiculous at first but it did help and whiled away the time
