Still in awe of the multiple attempts to physically squeeze blood out of me into the little vials. Plus I didn’t have a pulse half the time.

Genuinely can’t relate to this more, the best. It is when they go through about 4 differ t nurses before they call a ward doctor.

Oh my gosh - I feel this! I have the same challenge. I run around the hospital now and drink warm water before blood tests to get my circulation going. I used to have a fear of injections but had to get over it because of the blood test issue

I have GREAT veins, always super quick and totally painless, although when I was underweight I used to bruise like crazy after blood tests. Why do otherwise-healthy people have “bad veins” though? What’s that all about?

Worst one took 45 minutes, they made me drink two litres of water and run round the hospital, I shot blood up the wall and the nurse cried
