Regret to inform you I have bought a blood sugar monitor - not diabetic just keep having bad seizures when it’s low, meds kill my appetite and I hate sweet things - so will now be stabbing myself on the reg.

Can I help with any sport food recommendations? They’re all specifically designed to increase blood sugar quickly and because you need lots there’s a fair variety of non sickly sweet flavours to stop palate fatigue.

So, you might like to try coffee flavoured energy gels?
@ScienceinSport make a range where they're a bit more watery which is ideal for someone not so used to the energy gel vibe. Veloforte make bars that are quite bitter in a really good way https://veloforte.cc/1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -
Also you could try the cyclists' fall back: rice cakes! Instead of making them sweet, make them more savoury/naturally sweet https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/knowledge/nutrition/article/izn20150612-Rice-cakes-0 …
