Where I am (Hay) GPs refer to Hereford for most things - sometimes Nevill Hall in Abergavenny (better, IMHO, but they saved my life last year so I would say that) so if the same thing happens here too there will be a lot of people without care.

It's also silly from a financial point of view - the money follows the patient, so GPs on the borders of Wales using NHS England aren't getting "English" care for free, the Welsh NHS is still covering the cost of Welsh patients.
