I wonder whether it's also a question of integrity - "if I don't believe in God/don't go to church, why would I get married in church?"

I think that the stuff the C of E has done around weddings has been brilliant. But I also think that aspect should be taken seriously - I respect it

Realised I went to my first friend’s wedding last year, going to second in summer, both in churches for non-churchgoers (Protestant, then Catholic, respectively)
