I am socially conservative, member of no political consensus, and I find the use of 'cultural Marxism' as a term of abuse dreadfully anti-intellectual. Reading Adorno or Benjamin would do everyone good. Cross out Marcuse and supplement with Macintyre and we're all right.

If you play this right, there could be a lucrative movie franchise ahead. It’s about time Clint’s character met his female match.pic.twitter.com/THEgNgHL6i

I've never heard of the term - I bet most people haven't.

It's a dog whistle phrase. The far right have plenty of things that look meaningless to most but are a signal to like minded people. See also doing the OK hand signal. Not necessarily racist in itself obviously but the far right do use it to signify white power.

I really want to care about this, as Karl Marx was a nasty piece of work, but reading this it seems I need to look at the history of cultural Marxism first. Marx was a rabid Anti Semite despite his father being a Hebrew. People did plot downfall of western society. Still do.

Funny how the BBC suddenly finds antisemitism less compelling.
