Hmmm. I think they are all canny and experienced enough to know that re-heated Blairism is just not going to cut it. If Corbyn has done anything he has shifted the window on what the public will accept in terms of radical policy and they well may decide to capitalise on that.

Hmm. It's not at all clear to me that the Independent Group MPs have any intention of forming a party. Rather, they are identifying themselves as having rejected what their parties have delivered/not delivered, done/not done, since they were elected. I've no problem with that.

Interesting that despite the initial anti-Brexit fanfare, it seems they now favour a soft Brexit after all (see comments re confidence vote). The "party" could then become a pro-EU 'reverse UKIP' once we leave. That would then be the glue to hold them together in future.
