Spend a lot of time lately thinking about how if I lived in the US, I’d be pretty much uninsurable and bankrupt, whereas I’m exempt from even paying prescriptions here, and won’t pay a penny for looming complex spinal surgery.

Having free care for epilepsy, this genetic back problem, and multiple serious health conditions has kept me in work, not just alive, and it’s terrifying to imagine how things might have been different without the NHS.

And it's just so disgusting and depressing that Democrats say anything close to that for Americans is impossible. Like you if I was American I'd be bankrupt at best and probably dead.

Yes, it’s obscene: money should never be a barrier to health and any Democrat claiming Medicare for All is too radical needs to cross the floor
