Spend a lot of time lately thinking about how if I lived in the US, I’d be pretty much uninsurable and bankrupt, whereas I’m exempt from even paying prescriptions here, and won’t pay a penny for looming complex spinal surgery.

I am on a LOT of painkillers and tripping, but it’s fine cos I get free prescriptions, weyy!

And it's just so disgusting and depressing that Democrats say anything close to that for Americans is impossible. Like you if I was American I'd be bankrupt at best and probably dead.
-
Yes, it’s obscene: money should never be a barrier to health and any Democrat claiming Medicare for All is too radical needs to cross the floor

I would definitely be dead, probably several times over. Several people I know would be dead, and many more entire families homeless. Instead they're all working and contributing various things to society, plus paying tax. It's ALMOST AS THOUGH.....

Our son has a very serious form of epilepsy. Without the NHS we would be bankrupt and/or he wouldn't be alive. As it is, he is at school enjoying his Christmas party. Grateful every day. Furious every day at the attacks and neglect it suffers.
