You can change your Facebook so it's almost impossible to search for but the settings are hidden. I'll see if I can find it again and send you a how to. I'm a social media manager so Facebook is literally my job

You can change your settings to 'Only Friends' then you won't be visible
I quit FB in the beginning of the year. It used to be my main source of info. But the whole Cambridge Analytica story and what emerged since, made me decide that the risks outweigh the possible benefits. I don’t miss it now.
