Just had an incredible row with a posh guy in Clapham, where I told a homeless guy I had no cash but if he wanted anything in the shop, I'd get it. He asked for a can of Stella, I got him two, and the bloke tried to grab them off me.

"You're jjust encouraging them." I drink, and I have a home. I'd drink more if I slept rough. Rowed and he admitted he had no charitable donations set up for homeless charities. Just utter snobbery.

Replying to @DawnHFoster
“They’ll just spend it on drink” is an argument that makes me furious. Every day millions of middle class people go home & say ‘oh it’s been a tough day, let’s open a bottle of wine’. Well imagine how much you’d need a drink if you spent a day on the streets. Good on you Dawn x

It makes me utterly furious. Everything small pleasure from watching TV to having a beer is denied everyone bar the upper middle class. Utter barbarity.
