    Many poor countries lack access to Covid vaccines. It's a disgrace when rich countries only share doses they can themselves no longer use, because doses are close to expiring, then claim "the problem isn't supply, it's that poor countries don't have the distribution capacity".

    Fitch downgrade to B- (still with negative outloook), overdue & aligns them with S&P B- & Moody's B3. Fitch had previous rating since 2013. Question is will Ghana end up in the Cs this year? Already priced by markets (based on eurobond yields) .

    This is very true. Vaccine inequity is perhaps the biggest obstacle to ending this pandemic. Ridiculous to put the onus on “poor” countries.
