In 1990 Canada's ghg emissions were 602 mt, we're now at 716 mt - an increase of 114 mt In 1990 Alberta's ghg emissions were 172.6 mt, now at 272.8 - an increase of 100.2 mt. Canada's rise in emissions since 1990 is because of Alberta.

Why some people push for privatization of essential services will always confound me. We the taxpayers still pay the same amount except people get worse service. We essentially all get ripped off so some corporation, often foreign owned, can get rich. Its insane.

The court deploys the term "veto" several times to denigrate the idea of Indigenous consent & misportrays consultation/agreements w/ band councils & gov't-funded Métis organizations as representing a "broad consensus" about the Project, that forms part of the "public interest."

Every Canadian should be asking for RCMP to stand down. Why is Can Constitution only applied to some? It is clear. Supreme court affirmed in 1997 with Hereditary Chiefs.

The whole claim that Evo Morales committed election fraud - remember that? - was triggered by the fact that the counting system went offline for about 24 hours & pro-Morales rural votes came in later than others. Imagine if Bolivia did what Iowa has done - or rather, is doing:

Weird how the mistake - which is not "minor" from any perspective - ended up stealing Sanders votes & giving them to other candidates. Also weird how so many irregularities are discovered only because whistleblowers in the process use Twitter, and they also go against Sanders.

Leave the area? Indigenous people living on the lands of their ancestors, where their ancestors have literally lived for thousands of years are NOT PROTESTORS. This is land theft pure and simple.

if you truly care about your daughters' futures, you'll reject the largest tar sands mine ever proposed. and if you don't and it's built, i have no doubt that in 30 years time when it's still in operation, they'll be asking you what you were thinking.

We need to hear from the right now. Without them the BC NDP government cannot continue in power. What are they doing to get the NDP to stand down the RCMP, support UNDRIP and reverse their disastrous support of fracking and LNG?

Worth reiterating: The POV of many is that Wet’suwet’en law, unceded and unextinguished by treaty, applies in this case. So from this perspective, it would be more accurate to say RCMP are not choosing which ***Canadian*** laws to enforce

RCMP state they did not kick or punch anyone at the raid last year and think this makes them non-violent.. Because being prepared to shoot and kill us isn’t violent at all. Removing us from our land is violent. Pointing guns is violent.

Dear , How in the HELL did the county supervisor in Black Hawk report 27 votes for Steyer and then you gave him 396? How did they report less than 5 votes for Deval Patrick and you have him 494? Please explain this!

The idea Canada had "no choice" but to detain Meng Wanzhou is factually incorrect. We had a choice and we chose to be Trump's poodle, enforcing illegal Iran sanctions.
