This has caught on nicely, some great memories. I’ll throw abouther one in the ring: I very clearly remember my geography teacher saying “ignore where it says USSR. It should be Russia now” when using the atlas!

You are both babies. It's the 1972 Olympics in Munich for me. That's when we aquired our first family TV set. Before that, TV had been one of the exciting aspects of visiting Oma.

Diana’s death. I went out to play in the street early and the neighbours kids were crying. They told me Diana had died. My childminder was called Diana so I started crying too. My parents thought it was hilarious.
