Pure expert systems don't have data w/outcomes + scale to compete. Some have tried. They don't work too well here.

No doubt, too complex. But value-dense findings have some place right? Some insights hard to uncover in scaled tagging

I completely agree. I think of it this way: ML tells you what, "value-dense" findings show you why.
