There are a lot of valid criticisms of the caucus process, but you can't claim people cheated. Results in every precinct happen out in the open. If anyone reported them inaccurately (through honest mistake or cheating), error would quickly be discovered/corrected.

While you're waiting on results from the Iowa Caucus, check out this video of Mikva DC youth leaders in Iowa just two weeks ago when they were volunteering on presidential campaigns. Watch here as they share their experience with CNN.

A completely sincere thought: Thousands of totally well-meaning people spent a year of their lives working for candidates and their reward was being part of a historic debacle, because the state party fumbled an app. It’s infuriating.

The Iowa Democratic Party is holding a press call at 1 a.m. central time. We still have no results from tonight's caucuses.

I’ll go back to less frequent tweeting on my own account and will likely go mostly dormant at this point. Thanks to all who have helped, including the Iowans who have responded to surveys and my in person questions. It really has been fun!

yet thrilled to have observed robust debate among Democratic candidates and lots of interesting and important questions from voters. Not sure what happens next, but whatever it is, I hope voters across America find ways to get engaged for 2020.

And that’s a wrap from me. Almost exactly 6 months of traveling Iowa, listening to about 130+/- campaign speeches, and seeing so many Iowans engaged in the political process, is done. I start back to later today (Tuesday) sad that this may have been my last ...

Everyone thought Ann Selzer was crazy to never release the final Des Moines Register poll and yet she once again nailed the results of the perfectly.

Inconsistencies in reporting cause for delay in Democratic results

Situation seems like it could especially disadvantage Klobuchar, IF she’d really did have momentum that would have been visible tonight. Eventually I imagine we’ll know, but whatever gains could have come from beating expectations will be lost in sea of recriminations.

It’s worth remembering that changes in results reporting came about mostly due to pressure by the Sanders camp on the DNC for “transparency.” is not a primary, never was a primary, and trying to make it a primary without actually doing so does not seem to be working.

Meanwhile, media filing center status in Des Moines. Some are wrapping.

Speculation starts on 2024 status. My take has been pretty simple even before tonight. If Dems don’t have competitive campaign in 2024-in other words, they win & Dem runs for re-election, caucus is safe b/c GOP OK with it. But if competitive for Dems, all bets are off.

The media frustration is palpable here in the media center, as anchors try to fill time and commentators try to come up with something to say since there are no results yet.
