Calm the outrage. Sajid is spot on. I get the same lines when I talk about ‘genuine’ PTSD. Facts are clear; I feel for their desperation. But let’s not pretend these poor people are fleeing persecution... in France.

The UK has unilaterally guaranteed the residency rights of people from the EU who have chosen to call this home. The EU27 have not reciprocated for UK nationals living in the EU, yet somehow we’re the baddies. 🤷🏽‍♂️

This is what most of us Brexiteers are hoping for. Please fight to ensure the rest of the cabinet will respect this too, and when the deal falls they don't try to push for a second ref or extend A50.

Boris Johnson has been cleared by the Tory Party for saying that burkas look like “letter boxes”. About time. The British must be free to make both substantive points and harmless jokes, the risk of offence is not a good enough reason to silence debate.

Not all Remainers are snowflakes but the hypersensitivity of some of them must make their lives very stressful.

Don’t trust for Christmas gifts online. They pocket your money, give the order to a delivery company that doesn’t do weekends, gives you a 9-5 slot on a weekday and then doesn’t turn up anyway...obviously a ripoff. This is why Amazon does so well

EU is preparing to charge UK citizens £7 every time they want to visit the Republic of Ireland after BREXIT. This is bad news for the Southern Irish Tourist industry but will increase support for Eirexit

Im quite happy to retweet & let people make up their own minds as to who was being discourteous. No idea what was doing - thought the interviewer role involved keeping the debate under control.

Tube drivers are on strike this week. Top drivers receive salaries of over £100,000 - more than many airline pilots. Oh, and they also get 8 weeks paid holiday and full pension at 60. It’s hard and dirty work operating doors on an automatic train.
