The longer I sit here at Hooters the weirder and more uncomfortable it is. I look at all these guys who seem to revel in this as normal. And I don't know what's worse--acting "normal" to the waitresses as if it's nothing, or trying to awkwardly acknowledge the exploitation.

Interesting point. The only way working at a certain place is considered exploitation is if you view their position lesser than your own or you think they're too stupid to understand exploitation. Acting "normal" with them would almost be like treating them as equals, sexist.

Personally, I think women are very capable of understanding their own legal career path and knowing both their worth and what they can exploit from others. Seriously, have you seen the tips those waitresses get our are you interested in closing more jobs for women?

The average pay to look good at hooters is big enough to have a business insider interview. $250 for a decent night.https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.businessinsider.com/former-hooters-waitress-talks-2012-12 …

Should we talk about the thousands of dollars your type has cost hundreds of women via Formula One BS (which, BTW, they replaced them with child labor) or maybe the recent loss in jobs at car shows? I doubt being paid thousands to look good next to a car is exploitation.

Now, back to Hooters. Your complaint is about how men were treating them normally. That's a bad thing? That's exploitation? That's insulting. Let's also point out that you walked into the place knowing damn well what you'd see. It's not exactly secret.

On a side note, their wings are amazing and their burgers are too die for. I have a friend that works at the one down the road from me. She owns her home and had a nice car. Exploit me like that, please.
