Trump is, as we speak, telling a series of easily refutable, xenophobic lies to the American people. That does not seem to make people in the elite press as angry as calling him a motherfucker does. I do not understand that hierarchy of values.

Speaker Pelosi, citing advice from busboy at a venue in which she spoke: "When the president says to you that the Mueller investigation is going on too long, just remind him, not as long as the audit of his tax returns." (Clarifies quote)

Mitt Romney referring to human beings as “illegal” is infinitely more degrading. And I learned that from Elie Wiesel

How Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is talked about on NRATV: "A little bit of crazy can be fun. I’m not talking about marrying her, I'm just talking about a date or two,” "Could you imagine that look when she’s mad at you because you didn't take out the trash?"

I expect 5-4 rulings deciding that partisan gerrymandering can't be ruled unconstitutional at the federal level, thanks to Mitch McConnell stealing a Supreme Court seat & Trump putting an attempted rapist on the court

Trump last week on furloughed workers: "Most of the people not getting paid are Democrats." Now: "I think they'd say, Mr. President, keep going. This is far more important."

Steve Scalise is talking about stopping sexual assault of children, which is interesting since his party put a guy on the Supreme Court who sexually assaulted a teenager.

And yes, it was Republican members of Congress who booed Ocasio—not randos in the gallery

I'm still astonished that House Republicans booed—booed!—Ocasio on the floor of Congress as she voted for Pelosi. They are angry incels whose behavior is akin to how Kavanaugh & his buddies treated Renate

Trump definitely does not know Congress can override his veto in order to get the government open again. When he hears about it on Fox, he will NOT be happy.

I can’t wait for the media to start talking about the possibility of a veto override to reopen the government. Imagine being the person who has to explain what that means to Trump.

This is how the GOP screwed with the Democratic agenda using motions to recommit in 2007. Democrats, don’t fall for this again
