Only two weeks to go until the WOSSAT lightning talks meeting on Tue Feb 18. No doubt you've chosen the topic for your 5 minute talk. You've probably even started preparing what you want to say. But have you booked a slot? Don't miss out!

2019 was our best year yet! We digitised 61,000+ pages of Australia's biodiversity literature & made it openly accessible online (2018=48,000 pgs). Thanks to our amazing volunteers, the librarians, the global community & the for their support ❤️

Asking agencies to use prior to transfer - now there's an interesting idea. I love the notion of equipping records creators with the tools and skills they need to transfer only archival - and only "preservation-ready" - content to the archive

Thank you for sharing your experiences with dealing with absurd amounts of email archives. Now I'm thinking about what's required to fully preserve the content and metadata

describes some of the “emails” in the Government Digital Archive: sometimes it’s an email copied into a word doc and saved as a txt file into an EDMS system. 🤔🤷‍♀️
